A UNION IS
UNITY IN ACTION.

The All India IT and ITeS Employees’ Union was founded on 6 January 2018. We are a union of technology workers, broadly defined. We fight for better and fairer work conditions for everyone in the IT & ITeS industry, no matter their background or line of service.

We unite to make work in the technology sector enjoyable, meaningful, socially useful and personally fulfilling. But no technology worker can create these conditions of work all alone. It is only when we collaborate and build support – in a word, unite – that we can realise this dream.

We are uniting for this dream, but what are we uniting against?

Illegal termination
of employment

Stress and burnout

Harrassment at work

Unfair work contracts and delayed wages

Long and erratic work hours

Workplace discrimination

Job insecurity

Excessive monitoring of employees and workers

Technology work being used for undemocratic goals

You may have noticed that work in the technology sector in India is getting more unstable by the day.
Most of these issues may not apply to you, but sooner or later these problems will be your problems.

THE TIME TO STOP THE TREND IS NOW.
THE TIME TO ORGANISE IS NOW.

Because when we organise our work conditions improve, we learn from one another, build a network and ensure that our work is a force for good. All this without significant demands on our time.

WE ARE STRONGER TOGETHER.

JOIN THE UNION.
IT IS ANONYMOUS. IT IS SAFE. IT IS LEGAL.
MORE IMPORTANTLY, IT IS NECESSARY.
